Willow Tincture

Willow inner stem (Salicin) is infused in alcohol for wound treatment. Willow, sometimes referred to as 'the orginal aspirin' is known for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic qualities. This tincture is handy for treating minor wounds, insect bites and stings because in addition to the antiseptic ability, it has been known to numb pain. Processing is labour intensive as it requires pealing off the outer bark to expose the inner stem.
